Nikolai Nikolaeff is an acclaimed Australian actor, recognized for his performances in popular television series, films, and video games. After securing a lead role in the television series Crash Zone in 1997, Nikolai Nikolaeff established a versatile career spanning various entertainment mediums. He further solidified his presence in children’s television by starring as Mike Hansen in Crash Zone from 1999 to 2001. During this period, Nikolaeff also appeared in Blue Heelers (19992004) and took on the role of Drew Regnery in The Saddle Club (2003).
Transitioning into high-profile US productions, Nikolaeff appeared as Vladimir in Marvel’s Daredevil (2015) and delivered a compelling performance as Roman Azarov in The OA, a recurring role from 2016 to 2019. Continuing his prolific career in television and film, Nikolaeff took on roles in series such as Fargo (2017), Six (2018) as Prince, NCIS: New Orleans (2019), and NCIS (2020). His feature film credits from this period include Mile 22 (2018), Togo (2019), and Bruised (2020). In 2022, he joined the cast of Netflix’s critically acclaimed Stranger Things as Ivan.
