The sizzling Niurka Marcos is a fabulous Cuban singer, dancer, TV host, award-winning actress and vedette, best known across the Spanish-speaking world for playing the erotic dancer Karicia in the Mexican soap opera Salomé.

Born and raised in Cuba, Marcos later became part of the first group of foreigners naturalised by Mexican President Vicente Fox in 2002. She was always interested in entertaining and began her career as a dancer in the legendary Tropicana cabaret in Havana. She toured the world with the show, building up her fame, and it wasn’t long before she was hosting for Mérida TV. She also started working as a model and has appeared on and in countless publications, including a record-selling edition of Playboy Mexico in 2007.

Marcos began her acting career in Mexico in 1998 with a recurring role in Vivo Por Elena, and since then has appeared in countless TV productions, including Nunca te olvidaré, Corazones al límite, La mujer de Judas, and Alma de ángel. She has also taken part in Big Brother México, and was a judge on Soy tu doble. She started her own show, Espectacularmente Niurka, in 2008, and hosts the variety show El Show De Niurka, which also sees her interview other artists while in a jacuzzi. Alongside appearing in front of the camera, and upon the stage, she has forged a successful music career, and has been releasing music since 1999. Her first album, La Emperadora, came out in 2007, and her most recent release was 2021’s self-titled compilation album.

Marcos regularly connects with her millions of followers and admirers through TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, posting pictures and videos about her day-to-day life.
