Olivia Dejonge

Olivia DeJonge was born on April 30, 1998, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. At the age of five, she moved to Perth, Western Australia, where she attended Presbyterian Ladies’ College. Her acting career began early, with a radio voiceover for a hardware store chain at the age of eight, leading to further radio advertisements. In 2010, at just 12 years old, DeJonge played the lead role in Maziar Lahooti’s short film ‘Good Pretender,’ a performance for which she received the Best Actress award at the 24th Western Australian Screen Awards. This early recognition affirmed her passion for acting and set the stage for her future career.

DeJonge made her feature film debut in 2014 in ‘The Sisterhood of Night,’ starring alongside Georgie Henley, Kara Hayward, and Kal Penn. This was followed by a significant role as Tara Swift / Shaneen Quigg in the Australian ABC television drama series ‘Hiding’ in 2015. The same year, she gained international attention for her co-lead role as Becca in M. Night Shyamalan’s horror film ‘The Visit.’ Her career progression continued with notable television roles, including Alice Burbage in the TNT series ‘Will’ (2017) and Elle Tomkins in Netflix’s ‘The Society’ (2019).

A pivotal moment in DeJonge’s career came with her portrayal of Priscilla Presley in Baz Luhrmann’s 2022 film ‘Elvis.’ This role earned her critical acclaim and an AACTA Award for Best Supporting Actress. Following ‘Elvis,’ she appeared as Caitlin Atwater in Antonio Campos’s HBO limited series ‘The Staircase’ (2022) and is set to star as Ella Evans in the upcoming miniseries ‘The Narrow Road to the Deep North’ (2025).
