Writer, podcaster, comedian and actor Bryan Callen is known for his roles on MADtv, The Goldbergs, Schooled and podcast The Fighter and the Kid.
Callen studied acting at the Beverly Hills Playhouse, after a rich and varied childhood growing up across the world as the son of an international banker. He was cast as an original cast member of MADtv, a sketch show, and became well known for his outlandish characters and comedy timing. The entertainer then made several guest appearances in shows such as Frasier, Suddenly Susa, NYPD Blue, Sex and the City and How I Met Your Mother, also landing the part of Coach Mellor in the Goldbergs spin off series Schooled. Outside of acting, Callen also co-founded a podcast called the Ten Minute Podcast which he also presented for three years. He then founded another podcast called The Fighter and The Kid. He co-hosted the show for five years, initially focusing on sports and particularly martial arts but later covering pop culture and current affairs too. The podcast was so successful that the hosts performed it live on tour, as well as releasing 12 digital video episodes.
Alongside his successful career across television and podcasting, Callen still finds time to perform stand up tours across America, and star in comedy specials such as Never Grow Up and Complicated Apes. Most recently he has starred in film Think Like a Dog and continues to share his trademark observational humour with the world.
