Paolo Banchero

Paolo Banchero has quickly established himself as a prominent figure in the NBA, transitioning from a highly touted college athlete to an NBA Rookie of the Year and All-Star. After being recognized as the Washington Gatorade Player of the Year and MaxPreps National Junior of the Year, Paolo Banchero was named to the McDonald’s All-American Game and Jordan Brand Classic rosters in 2021, signaling his rise as a top-tier athlete. Following a standout collegiate career at Duke University, where he earned consensus second-team All-America honors, Banchero declared for the 2022 NBA Draft and was selected as the first overall pick by the Orlando Magic. During his freshman season at Duke (2021-2022), he started all 39 games, averaging 17.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game, and was recognized as the ACC Freshman of the Year.
