Park Ji-hoon has transitioned from a celebrated K-pop idol to an award-winning actor, showcasing versatility across music, television, and film. After gaining significant recognition in 2017 as the second-place winner of the second season of ‘Produce 101’, Park Ji-hoon debuted as a member of the acclaimed boy group Wanna One. His foundational experience in entertainment began earlier as a child actor and advertisement model, with roles in musicals such as ‘Peter Pan’ (20072009), ‘The Harmonium in My Memory’ (2010), and ‘Radio Star’ (20102011). He also appeared in television dramas like ‘Jumong’ (20062007) and ‘The King and I’ (20072008), alongside appearances in reality shows like SS501’s ‘SS501 SOS’ (2006) and ‘KM Idol War’ with Big Bang (2007), before training with SM Entertainment and Fantagio, eventually joining Maroo Entertainment.
His acting career continued its upward trajectory with lead roles in the web drama ‘Love Revolution’ (2020), where he also contributed to the official soundtrack, and the KBS college drama ‘At a Distance, Spring Is Green’ (2021). Park Ji-hoon solidified his reputation as a versatile actor with his critically acclaimed lead role in the Wavve k-drama ‘Weak Hero Class 1’ (2022). In 2024, Park Ji-hoon starred in the feature film ‘Audrey’ and took on dual roles in the drama ‘Love Song for Illusion,’ for which he received the Excellence Award for Best Actor at the KBS Drama Awards.
