Paul Campbell

Paul Campbell was born on June 22, 1979, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He spent his formative years in White Rock, British Columbia, and graduated from Semiahmoo Secondary in 1997. Campbell began his acting career at the age of 23. His early work included an uncredited role in “The Perfect Score” (2004) and parts in television series such as “The Dead Zone” (2002) and “John Doe” (2003). His career gained significant momentum from 2004 to 2006 when he portrayed Billy Keikeya, the aide to President Laura Roslin, in the reimagined “Battlestar Galactica” TV series, appearing in 25 episodes.

Following his role in “Battlestar Galactica,” Paul Campbell ventured into comedy, starring in the 2005 TV pilot “Nobody’s Watching.” Although the pilot was not picked up for a series, it later gained attention online. In 2007, he starred in “National Lampoon’s Bag Boy” alongside Dennis Farina and appeared in the film “88 Minutes.” His acting range was further demonstrated in the 2008 romantic comedy “Play the Game,” where he acted alongside Andy Griffith and Doris Roberts. In the same year, he co-starred in NBC’s “Knight Rider” reboot as Billy Morgan, a main role that spanned 18 episodes through 2009.

Campbell continued his career progression with significant television roles, including the comedy series “Almost Heroes” in 2011, where he played Terry across 8 episodes, and “Spun Out” from 2014 to 2015, where he held a main role as Beckett Ryan for 26 episodes. Over the years, he has also become well-known for his extensive work with the Hallmark Channel, appearing in numerous television films. Beyond acting, Campbell has expanded into writing and producing, with credits on several projects including “Christmas by Starlight” (2020) and “Three Wise Men and a Baby” (2022) as a writer, and “Moriah’s Lighthouse” (2022) as an executive producer.
