William Moseley beat out 3,000 young teens when he was cast in his breakout role, playing Peter Pevensie in The Chronicles of Narnia series. For his five years as Peter, not only did he reprise his character in videogames, but his performance led him to win a Kid’s Choice Award and receive two nominations from the Young Artist Awards.
Having grown up with a father in cinematography, Moseley has been on sets his whole life, inspiring him to pursue acting. By age ten, he began auditioning, and the following year, he was hand-selected by the casting director of Cider with Rosie for a cameo in the PBS film. After appearing in his second PBS film, Goodbye, Mr. Chips, the casting director from Cider with Rosie remembered Moseley and suggested him for his breakout role in Narnia. To prepare for the part, he moved to New York to work under the advisement of famous acting coach, Sheila Gray.
Since his Narnia days, Moseley’s completed over thirty acting projects, to date. On the small screen, he’s guest-starred on programs like Prop Culture, Perception, and American Ninja Warrior, but most recognize him as the leading man in the E! network soap opera, The Royals, portraying Prince Liam. Additionally, he appeared in the Lifetime movie, My Sweet Audrina, based off the best-selling novel by V.C. Andrews. And Moseley’s been in countless films, with starring roles in Run, The Silent Mountain, Friend Request, and The Little Mermaid.
Outside of acting, Moseley is an active member of the Stand Up to Cancer program.
