Born on June 2, 1974, in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Canada, Paul Greene was raised on a farm. His early life instilled values of hard work and family. After graduating high school, he attended college on a volleyball scholarship. During this period, he was discovered by agent Kelly Streit and commenced an international modeling career at the age of 18, appearing on numerous magazine covers and representing major brands globally including Armani and Tommy Hilfiger.
Greene’s career transitioned into acting, leading him to Los Angeles. He has since appeared in over 50 television and film projects, including recurring roles and guest appearances. Notable television credits include “NCIS,” “CSI,” “The Newsroom,” “Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce,” and a five-season portrayal of Dr. Carson Shepherd on “When Calls the Heart.” He is also recognized for his extensive work with the Hallmark Channel, having starred in nine movies with the network, earning him the title of the male actor with the most Christmas movies on Hallmark Channel.
Beyond acting, Greene is a musician with two albums, “Freedom For Your Soul” and “Long Way Home,” featuring original songs that have charted nationally. He expanded into live performances during the 2020 pandemic, performing close to 500 live shows. He also hosts a podcast, “The Grass is Greener with Paul Greene,” and co-develops educational programs as part of the Freedom Alchemist duo, focusing on fitness and longevity. He is currently studying for an Integrative Health Coach degree at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Greene is also actively involved in fundraising and awareness for ALS, following his father’s passing from the disease.
