Paul Peschisolido

Paul Peschisolido has built a distinguished career as a Canadian international footballer and coach, transitioning from a prolific striker to a recognized managerial figure. After being named the Canadian Soccer League ‘Rookie of the Year’ in 1989 following his professional debut with the Toronto Blizzard, Paul Peschisolido quickly established himself as a dynamic forward. His early career included earning ‘Newcomer of the Year’ honors in 1991 with the Kansas City Comets in the Major Indoor Soccer League. Peschisolido further honed his skills with a stint at the esteemed Juventus academy before making a pivotal move to English football in November 1992, joining Birmingham City for a transfer fee of £25,000.

Peschisolido’s extensive contributions to Canadian soccer were formally acknowledged in 2013 with his induction into the prestigious Canadian Soccer Hall of Fame, cementing his legacy as both a pivotal player and a respected figure in the sport.
