Paul Robinson was one of the best goalkeepers of his era and went on to play 42 times for the English national side. In a career that dates back to 1998, Paul has played for many top flight teams including Leeds United, Tottenham Hotspur, Blackburn Rovers and currently Burnley. He has played more than 400 games in all and even scored once while playing for Spurs. He started as a 16 year old and made his full international debut in a game that saw his side win 3-1 against Australia in 2003. He has played din qualification games for the World Cup and for his great performances at Leeds in the early days he was voted Leeds United’s Player of the Year in 2003 by the supporter’s club. He also won the FA Youth Cup with Leeds United and on his senior debut he managed to keep a clean sheet.
His England career was rather up and down but whiners called upon he was hugely reliable and kept many clean sheets, and at once stage payed 655 minutes of international football without conceding a goal. Married with two children, Paul is a dedicated professional who has always give his all to the sport. He is a standout goalkeeper of the last few years so is a great choice to train or inspire young footballers, to talk about his time in the sport and act as an ambassador for appropriate brands and companies.
