Payton Pritchard is an acclaimed American basketball player for the Boston Celtics, known for his impactful performances as a guard. After leading West Linn High School to four consecutive state titles, Payton Pritchard distinguished himself early, earning the Todd Pratt Player of the Year title in both 2014 and 2015. He also garnered the Oregon Class 6A Player of the Year and Gatorade Oregon Player of the Year awards in 2015. During his junior year (2014–15), Pritchard averaged 22 points and 5.8 assists per game, elevating to 23.6 points, 6.8 assists, and 3.1 steals as a senior (2015–16).

He also delivered 38 points, 12 assists, and 9 rebounds against the Washington Wizards, culminating in his first NBA Championship with the Boston Celtics in June 2024. In the 2024-25 season, Pritchard reached a new career-high of 43 points against the Portland Trail Blazers on March 5, 2025, and was recognized with the prestigious NBA Sixth Man of the Year award on April 22, 2025.
