Rainn Wilson

Rainn Wilson received a Screen Actors Guild award as part of the best drama ensemble for his recurring role as Arthur Martin in the HBO series Six Feet Under from 2003 to 2005. This followed a strong foundation in theater, including performances in productions such as Venus at The Public Theater in 1996 and earning three Helen Hayes Award nominations for his work at the Arena Stage. Wilson transitioned into film and television with an appearance in the soap opera One Life to Live in 1997 and his feature film debut in Galaxy Quest in 1999. He also held early supporting roles in Almost Famous (2000), Steven Soderbergh’s Full Frontal (2002), and Rob Zombie’s House of 1000 Corpses (2003).

In 2023, he starred in the travel series ‘Rainn Wilson and the Geography of Bliss’ for Peacock, bringing his unique perspective to audiences. The same year, he made an appearance in Lessons in Chemistry, further diversifying his television work. Continuing his prolific career, Wilson is currently set to appear in the film Code 3 (2025) and Paradise Records (2025). He will also showcase his theatrical roots by portraying Caldwell B.
