Throughout her illustrious career, Rani Price has presented some of Britain’s most loved daytime shows, such as Don’t Get Done in the Sun, Don’t Get Done, Get Dom, Watchdog Daily, Save My Holiday and To Buy or Not To Buy. She has also been a correspondent for The One Show and has even appeared on Blue Peter. In more recent memory, Rani Price co-presented Urban Jungle, as part of the BBC’s Summer of Wildlife season.
At the start of her career on-screen, Rani co-hosted some highly popular CBBC shows, such as ROAR, the children’s wildlife show, Best of Friends, Beneath The Lab Coat, MOTD Kickabout and All Over The Place. Rani has also featured on Celebrity MasterChef and was involved with the BBC3 series Kill It Cook It Eat It. As a vegan herself, this was a chance for Rani to personally explore the pros and cons of killing and consuming meat.
Following on from the birth of her daughter, Rani Price became much more aware for the pressure that women face from the media to maintain an idealised body-type. Deploying her training in social sciences, Rani decided to get a qualification as a personal trainer, in order to help women learn to love their body. She actively works with her clients to combat the negative patterns associated with feeling insecure about one’s appearance. A committed philanthropist and truly admirable character on British television, one of Rani’s biggest ambitions is to work with elephants in Sri Lankan orphanages.
