Yvonne Strahovski is an internationally renowned Australian actress. On Instagram she has 884k followers and she was born 1982 in New South Wales. Her parents emigrated from Warsaw, Poland. From the age of 12 she took acting lessons and went to high school at Santa Sabina College, Strathfield. She trained in Performance at the University of Western Sydney’s school of Contemporary Arts.
Soon after graduating Strahovski was awarded her first role on TV working on an episode of ‘Double the Fist: Fear Factory’. She then appeared in some episodes of ‘Headland’ and in 2007 she made her first film appearance in Gone, an award-winning film. She made the decision to look for work in Los Angeles and submitted her audition for the NBC spy drama series ‘Chuck’, soon impressing the producers. When she moved to the US she was cast as Sarah Walker.
Some of the roles Strahovski is well known for are Hannah McKay in the drama series ‘Dexter’, CIA agent Kate Morgan in ‘24: Live Another Day’ and the ‘Hulu’ drama series.
For ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ she was chosen for a Primetime Emmy Award, Screen actors Guild award and Golden Globe Award nomination. Productions she has also worked on include Lego: The Adventures of Clutch Powers, Killer Elite, The Astronaut Wives Club, Manhattan Night and The Predator. She is married to Tim Loden and they had their first child in 2018.
