Rhett Fisher is an American singer, songwriter, producer, and actor best known to millennial audiences for playing Titanium Ranger Ryan Mitchell in the Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue seres. As a musician, he is best known for being part of the duo Project Dirty, whose biggest hit was the 2014 single, ‘Skywalker’. He has gained writing and production credits for a staggering array of artists over the years, including Sean Kingston, Skee-Lo, My Crazy Girlfriend, Brandon Rogers, and Japanese hip-hop group Lead. He has also released much solo material, including the singles ‘Mad’ and ‘Summertime’.
Fisher was born in Indianapolis in 1980. In his late teens, like so many aspiring creative talents, he relocated to Los Angeles to try and get his break into the entertainment industry. He initially found success as a model before being chosen to play the Ryan Mitchell, the Titanium Ranger in Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue, the eighth season in the hugely successful Power Rangers franchise, which aired at the start of 2000. The following year, he had a completely different kind of role when he found himself portraying British royal Prince William in the show Maybe It’s Me.
Despite this television success, Fisher found that his heart was in music. A keen singer-songwriter since the age of 16, he began performing with the band Manic Mind, who released their debut EP, Vodka Redbull, in 2006 and a self-titled debut album in 2009. He then worked with American Idol finalist Brandon Rogers among others before forming Project Dirty and eventually launching his solo career, which he still pursues today.
