With a career that spans more than 20 years, the talented
Rick Hoffman is recognised for a variety of roles across television and cinema.
Taking on the central part of Louis Litt in legal series Suits, Hoffman starred
alongside Meghan Markle, portraying a character known for his sarcastic
put-downs and quirky habits that swiftly became a fan favourite. He has also
starred as Patrick Van Dorn in the hit series Jake in Progress, amongst many
other things, always turning out standout performances.
Hofmann struggled for many years before finally breaking
through as an actor in Los Angeles. His acting credentials stretch back to 1997
when he landed a part playing a security guard in action flick Conspiracy
Theory. Following this came a minor role in 1998’s Lethal Weapon 4, before TV
and film work continued to roll in: aside from his career-defining portrayal of
Louis Litt in Suits, Hoffman has appeared in over forty productions. Most
recently he can be seen in Ballers, with guest parts in popular shows such as
CSI: Miami, The Pretender, Law & Order: SVU, NCIS and The Mentalist. As a
prominent and talented star of American TV and film, Rick Hoffman remains as
popular as ever.
