Rizwan Manji

Rizwan Manji is an actor recognized for his roles across television, film, and theatre, bringing diverse characters to narratives for over two decades. After enrolling at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City in 1992, Rizwan Manji embarked on a prolific acting career spanning over two decades in television, film, and theatre. He quickly established a foundation with recurring appearances in series such as ‘Privileged,’ ‘Better Off Ted,’ and ’24.’ Manji made notable film appearances early in his career, including ‘Transformers’ (2007) as Akram and ‘Charlie Wilson’s War’ (2007) as Colonel Mahmood. From 2010 to 2011, Manji gained wider recognition with his role as Rajiv Gidwani in the NBC comedy ‘Outsourced,’ a character he was specifically cast for after an initial audition for a different part.

In addition to his screen work, Manji co-hosts the podcast ‘The Brighter Side of News,’ offering a new platform for his engaging presence. He also recently returned to the stage, performing in Anosh Irani’s ‘Behind the Moon’ at the Belfry Theatre.
