Rob Cross

Rob Cross is an English professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. His professional career began in 2016. In 2018, he secured the PDC World Darts Championship title by defeating Phil Taylor, a notable achievement early in his professional career. Prior to this, in 2016, Cross was an amateur Rileys qualifier and reached the last 32 at the UK Open, where he faced Michael van Gerwen. He then participated in the PDC Challenge Tour, winning three of the 16 events and topping the Order of Merit, which earned him a Tour Card for the 2017 PDC Pro Tour. His entry into professional darts was marked by rapid success and a clear progression through the ranks.

Following his World Championship win, Cross continued to build his career. In 2019, he won the World Matchplay and the European Championship. He secured another European Championship in 2021. Throughout his professional career, Cross has accumulated a total of 21 PDC titles, including five World Series of Darts titles. His performance consistently places him among the top players, with a peak ranking of world number two in both 2018 and 2019. He has recently achieved further titles, winning the Baltic Sea Darts Open in 2024 and the US Darts Masters in the same year, demonstrating continued competitive performance.
