Robert Aramayo

Robert Michael Aramayo, born on November 6, 1992, in Kingston upon Hull, England, began his acting journey at age seven playing Bugsy Malone in a primary school production. His early interest in performance was nurtured at the Hull Truck Youth Theatre, where he participated in approximately three plays annually. Aramayo further honed his craft by earning a place at the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City in 2011. While at Juilliard, his lead role as Alex in a production of Anthony Burgess’s ‘A Clockwork Orange’ earned him his first film role in the Italian-American production ‘Lost in Florence’. This early foundation provided him with a strong theatrical background before transitioning into significant screen roles.

Aramayo gained considerable recognition for his portrayal of young Eddard Stark in the sixth and seventh seasons of HBO’s critically acclaimed series ‘Game of Thrones’ from 2016 to 2017. The same year, he appeared in Tom Ford’s film ‘Nocturnal Animals’. His career continued to progress with diverse roles, including that of mechanical engineer William S. Harley in the Discovery Channel miniseries ‘Harley and the Davidsons’ in 2016. In 2021, he starred as Rob Hoyle in the Netflix psychological thriller miniseries ‘Behind Her Eyes’, a role that garnered attention for his character’s irreverence.
