Roger Craig Smith was born on August 11, 1975, in St. Joseph, Michigan, and spent his upbringing in Tustin, California. His early creative endeavors included training in musical theater and performing stand-up comedy for five years, a skill that later influenced his voice acting approach. He pursued higher education at Chapman University, graduating in 2003 with a B.A. in Screenwriting. During his time at Chapman, he also hosted a local live television talk show. In 2005, Smith transitioned from stand-up comedy to focus on voice acting full-time, a career path where he has since established a significant presence.
Throughout his career, Smith has lent his voice to a wide range of projects, gaining recognition for his versatile talent.
