Ronaldinho’s professional debut came when he was just 18 years old, playing for Gremio in his home country of Brazil. He rapidly became a highly sought after player, signing for Paris Saint Germain and soon after Barcelona where he stayed for five years. He is considered an integral part of the team’s success during those years, winning tow La Liga titles as well as the UEFA Champions League. This star player was named FIFA World Player of the Year twice during his time with the side and was awarded the Ballon d’Or in 2005. In 2008 he made the move to AC Milan where he stayed for three years, before brief stints with Flamengo, Atletico Mineiro and Queretaro. As well as a legendary club career, Ronaldinho also made numerous appearances for his national side, winning the 2002 FIFA World Cup and taking home a bronze at the 2008 Summer Olympics.
