Ronn Moss

Achieving national pop chart success, Ronn Moss, as bassist and vocalist, co-founded the band Player in 1976, which saw their hit single ‘Baby Come Back’ hold the number one position for three weeks in early 1978. The band continued their rapid ascent that same year with their follow-up single, ‘This Time I’m in It for Love,’ reaching the top ten, leading to Player being recognized as a Top New Singles artist by Billboard magazine in 1978. Moss later launched a successful solo music career, releasing albums such as ‘I’m Your Man’ in 2000 and ‘Uncovered’ in 2007, and has maintained a robust touring schedule, including engagements across Australia and Italy. Transitioning into acting, Ronn Moss secured the career-defining role of Ridge Forrester on the CBS soap opera ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ in 1987.

He also performed live with the band The Drugs on the Australian show ‘Rove Live’ in 2002 and showcased his versatility by achieving second place in the Italian version of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in 2010. His public appeal was further highlighted through a popular television commercial for Australian orange juice producer Berri. Continuously exploring multifaceted creative ventures, Moss holds producer and director credits for projects such as ‘Ronn’s Garage.’ He also contributed as an executive producer for the 2022 film ‘Surprise Trip,’ demonstrating his ongoing engagement in both music and acting across various production capacities.
