Torii Hunter Jr. was born on June 7, 1995, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He embarked on a diverse athletic career, initially gaining recognition for his talents in both football and baseball. In baseball, he was signed by the Los Angeles Angels on June 29, 2016, marking his entry into professional sports. His early assignments included the Orem Owlz in 2017 and the Burlington Bees starting in 2018. During this period, Hunter Jr. demonstrated consistent performance, earning recognition as a MiLB.com Organization All-Star in 2017 while with the Los Angeles Angels organization.
