Ryan Arcidiacono

During his collegiate career, he quickly became a key player for Villanova, earning a spot on the Big East Conference All-Rookie Team as a freshman in the 2012–13 season. His sophomore year brought further recognition as an honorable mention all-Big East selection. A significant milestone arrived in his junior season, 2014–15, when he was named co-winner of the Big East Player of the Year award, sharing the honor with Kris Dunn, showcasing his capabilities as a leader and skilled guard within the conference. Arcidiacono transitioned to a professional career after going undrafted in the 2016 NBA draft, initially playing for the San Antonio Spurs in the Summer League before joining their G League affiliate, the Austin Spurs.

Throughout these periods, he also played for their respective G League affiliates, the Maine Celtics (for the Knicks) and the Windy City Bulls (for the Bulls’ organization). In the 2023-24 season, Arcidiacono notably set an NBA record for the most consecutive games played without scoring a single point, illustrating his persistent presence and role in various league rosters. Further solidifying his legacy, Villanova Wildcats honored him by retiring his No. 15 jersey in 2020, a testament to his profound impact on the program.
