Ryan Fitzgerald

Ryan Fitzgerald is a professional ice hockey player known for his strong offensive contributions and consistent performance in collegiate and American Hockey League play. After being named the 2012 MVP of the CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game, Ryan Fitzgerald went on to solidify his reputation as a formidable offensive talent, earning the 2013 EJHL Rookie of the Year award. Prior to his collegiate career, Fitzgerald showcased significant talent during his time at Malden Catholic High School, achieving 47 points in 24 games during the 2009-10 season and an impressive 72 points in 24 games in the 2010-11 season. He continued his junior development with the Valley Jr.

Warriors in the Eastern Junior Hockey League, where he recorded 30 points in 26 games in 2012-13. Fitzgerald’s collegiate career at Boston College saw consistent progression. Transitioning to professional hockey, Fitzgerald signed an entry-level contract with the Boston Bruins in March 2017, subsequently joining their AHL affiliate, the Providence Bruins. He spent four seasons with the Providence Bruins, consistently contributing offensively and recording 21 goals in 65 games during the 2017-18 season.

His strong performance earned him an AHL All-Star Game selection in 2019, highlighting his impact within the league. In 2021, Fitzgerald signed a contract with the Philadelphia Flyers organization, playing for their AHL affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, where he continued to demonstrate his scoring prowess with 21 points in 28 games. Most recently, Fitzgerald signed with the Utica Comets in 2023, where he continues his professional career in the American Hockey League.
