Saiya Hyness

Saiya Hyness began her journey in cosmetology at approximately 12 years old, gaining practical experience by styling the hair of family members. By the age of 14, she had developed a client base that included family friends, schoolmates, and teachers. Her commitment to her craft was evident as she would travel on Dallas Area Rapid Transit with her supplies to attend appointments. During her early years, alongside her growing interest in hair, she also engaged in creative pursuits like writing poetry and raps.

At 15 years old, Saiya Hyness independently enrolled in high school. The following year, at 16, she became a mother. Faced with the challenge of supporting her daughter, Saiya engaged in various endeavors that allowed her to provide for her family. This period contributed to her resourcefulness and determination.

By the age of 21, Saiya Hyness developed a significant interest in natural and homemade beauty products, leading her to formulate her own hair and skincare items. Her hair product, specifically designed to achieve luxuriously shiny hair, quickly gained popularity. Recognizing the need within black communities for a product that could effectively manage and nourish curly, coily, and kinky hair types, she decided to launch Saiya Hyness Hair Essentials. This venture introduced her revolutionary “LUXE” Serum to a broader audience, designed to restore hair health and provide manageability across all hair types, particularly curly textures.
