Put simply, Dallas Shaw is one of the world’s leading lifestyle and design creatives. She started out working as an illustrator and is now a creative consultant and visionary who can boast a client list that includes the likes of Dior, Disney, DKNY, Vogue, Chanel, and many, many more. She uses her flair for conceptualisation to help some of the biggest brand names on the planet with everything from marketing materials to interior design. Inevitably, people have wanted to know about the person behind the designs, and Shaw has been featured in the likes of Harper’s Bazaar, InStyle Magazine, and The New York Times, to name a few. She also has a large social media following, including over 68,000 Instagram fans with whom she shares her life and inspirations.
Shaw studied Illustration and Fine Art at the prestigious Marywood University in Pennsylvania. After graduating, she moved south to Orlando, Florida, where she began working as a character artist at Walt Disney Studio’s Animation Building. Five years later, she went freelance, providing major clients with design structures and concepts. Soon, she was being called upon by the likes of Mercedes Benz and Carolina Herrera to provide ideas and designs. She has also become a creative ambassador for brands including Estee Lauder, Ford, and Babybel.
In 2017, Shaw added “best-selling author” to her impressive resume when she published The Way She Wears It: An Insider’s Guide to Revealing Your Personal Style through leading publishing house HarperCollins. Shaw wrote, styled, and illustrated the whole book before setting out on a successful three-month promotional tour for it, showing that its her dedication as much as her talent that has seen her become so successful.
