Sam Kuhnert co-founded NubAbility Athletics Foundation in 2011, establishing a national organization dedicated to supporting limb-different youth. Kuhnert’s vision for the foundation materialized from his own experience as a three-letter athlete in high school and a college pitcher. He graduated from Morthland College with a degree in business administration, where he also lettered in baseball, and later served as the colleges pitching and strength and conditioning coach for two seasons following a career-ending injury. With his mother, Jana Kaye Kuhnert, he launched NubAbility and organized its first annual camp in 2012, quickly building it into a national entity focused on mentorship and sports training.
He remains dedicated to guiding countless individuals to become impactful leaders in their own lives, solidifying NubAbility’s role as a preeminent force in adaptive sports.
