Sara Lopez

Sara Lopez is an internationally recognized compound archer, holding multiple world records and championship titles. After competing for the Colombian national team at the 2011 Pre-Olympic event in Medellin, Sara Lopez quickly ascended to a world ranking of 3 by 2013, establishing herself as a formidable force in compound archery. She solidified her elite status by winning the Archery World Cup in 2014, marking the beginning of a dominant career. Lopez has since secured an impressive nine World Cup Final individual gold medals and holds the world record for a 15-arrow round, alongside 10 other world records.

A significant milestone in her career was becoming the first woman to achieve a perfect 150 at Stage 3 of the World Cup in Medellín, demonstrating unparalleled precision and competitive prowess. Lopez’s consistent excellence has been recognized globally, culminating in her distinction by Guinness World Records as the most successful archer in history. Her achievements span numerous multi-sport events, including collecting multiple medals across the World Championships, World Games, Pan American Games, Pan American Championships, Central American and Caribbean Games, South American Games, and Bolivarian Games.
