Scarlet Ortiz

Scarlet Ortiz is a Venezuelan actress and model recognized for her extensive career in telenovelas and her transition into theater and network marketing. After her prominent participation in the Miss Venezuela pageant as Miss Sucre in 1992, Scarlet Ortiz rapidly became a leading figure in Latin American television. Her career commenced with an appearance on the children’s show ‘Nubeluz’ from 1994 to 1996, before she transitioned to starring roles in popular telenovelas. Ortiz captivated audiences as Federica in ‘Niña mimada’ (1998), followed by her acclaimed portrayal of Luisa Fernanda Riera in ‘Luisa Fernanda’ (1999).

The following year, she returned to Venezuelan television after a decade of international work to star as Mariana Wilhelm in the telenovela ‘Dulce Amargo’ (2012-2013). In 2017, Ortiz played Maria de Nazareth in the film ‘Santiago Apostol’ and took on the role of Salma Beltrán in the television series ‘La Fan.’ Her television work continued with varied performances, including Gloria Cruz in ‘100 días para enamorarnos’ (2020) and Olga Salgado in ‘Esta historia me suena’ (2021). More recently, Ortiz was featured as Marilyn Ortiz in the 2023 TV series ‘Dramáticas’ and portrayed Helena in the film ‘Farándula la película’ the same year. Further demonstrating her diverse talents, she also served as a host for the program ‘Divinisimas’ in 2023.

Scarlet Ortiz continues to maintain an active presence in film and television, with current and upcoming projects. In 2024, she joined the cast of ‘La Tercera Edad’ as Amparo Ortiz. Looking ahead, Ortiz is set to star as Lola in the anticipated 2025 production, ‘Nada Es Lo Que Parece,’ underscoring her ongoing relevance and demand in the entertainment industry.
