Sebastian Esposito was born on April 21, 2005, in Melbourne, Australia. He began his youth football career in Melbourne, developing his skills within the academies of Melbourne City FC. His early career saw him make six senior appearances for Melbourne City FC between 2022 and 2023. This foundational period in Australia led to an international transfer, illustrating his early potential and the interest from European clubs.
In January 2024, Esposito moved to Italy, joining Serie A side US Lecce. At Lecce, he quickly established himself as a prominent player within the club’s U20s team, where he took on the role of captain.
