Seth Morrison

Seth Morrison is a professional skier, filmmaker and actor. He is known for his daredevil and high-octane style of skiing, and has won many competitions for his skills. In 1991, he placed second in the US National Extremes, and followed these performances with high ranks in competitions all over the world.

Morrison was born in Murray, Kentucky, but moved to Vail, Colorado as a teenager. It was here he began building his career and skillset as one of the most thrilling skiers out there. After becoming a professional skier and racing success, he began to attract attention for his stunts on difficult terrains and daring jumps. After receiving cult like renown as a skier, he partnered with the ski brand K2, sponsored by them for over 20 years.

Respected for his visually fascinating style of skiing; he started taking an active role in the world of ski filmography. Filmmakers became aware of his talent and he was approached by Matchstick Productions in the late 1990s. This partnership proved to be hugely fruitful; and together they pioneered this genre of thrilling ski photography. He has since worked with production companies including: Poor Boyz Productions, Teton Gravity Research, and Warren Miller Entertainment and Matchstick Productions. He continues to appear in films, and skiing all over the world to challenge himself and evolve as a skiing star.
