The loveable Shane Landrum is best known for being the first openly gay man featured on the 2002 season of MTV’s Road Rules reality show, Campus Crawl. His honest portrayal of gay identity and it’s inherent struggles within American society lead to his involvement with GP Entertainment, and the beginning of his speaking tours at public and private universities on issues of diversity and tolerance.
Landrum hails from Chapel Hill in North Carolina. He graduated from the University of North Carolina in 2005 with a degree in Anthropology, but soon found his true calling was in television. He made his reality show debut on MTV’s Road Rules Campus Crawl in 2002, and has since became a frequent competitor on MTV’s Challenge series, including Battle of the Sexes, The Inferno, Battle of the Sexes 2, Fresh Meat, Invasion, and the final farewell season of Road Rules, Viewers’ Revenge. He holds the record for the longest gap between Challenge seasons by a male contestant, with 16, as well as holding the record for the most Challenge seasons without reaching a Final Challenge by a male contestant, with seven.
Landrum regularly connects with his legions of fans and followers through Instagram, and OnlyFans, posting pictures and videos of his personal and professional life. He is also available for that personalised rant via the Cameo platform!
