Shawn Pyfrom

Shawn Pyfrom is an American actor primarily recognized for his extensive work in television and film since the mid-1990s. After establishing a significant presence in television and film since the mid-1990s, Shawn Pyfrom earned a Young Artist Award in 2002 for his work on the series ‘Reba.’ His early career included notable roles across various television series such as ‘The Cape’ in 1995, ‘The Drew Carey Show’ from 1995 to 2004, ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ between 1997 and 2003, and the HBO miniseries ‘From the Earth to the Moon’ in 1998. Pyfrom also showcased his talent by portraying younger versions of iconic personalities, including Michael Landon in the 1999 production ‘Michael Landon, the Father I Knew’ and Danny Bonaduce in 1999’s ‘Come On, Get Happy: The Partridge Family Story.’ His vocal performance as the main voice role of Lionel Griff in 41 episodes of the Disney Channel series ‘Stanley’ from 2001 to 2003 further solidified his early success. Pyfrom gained widespread recognition for his pivotal role as Andrew Van de Kamp, the son of Bree Van de Kamp, in ABC’s acclaimed series ‘Desperate Housewives.’ Beginning as a recurring guest in the inaugural season (2004-2005), he quickly progressed to a supporting cast member for seasons two, three, and four, and was ultimately promoted to a full series regular in the fifth season (2009).

This project marked his directorial debut and premiered at the esteemed Santa Barbara International Film Festival. Pyfrom also served as a producer for the 2017 feature film ‘Hard Surfaces,’ in which he concurrently delivered a performance as the character Adrian Jacobs. His recent acting credits continue to span both television and film, including roles in ‘Hellbent’ (2018), ‘Randy’s Canvas’ (2018), and ‘A Deadly Price for Her Pretty Face’ (2020). Most recently, Pyfrom appeared in the popular television series ‘The Rookie’ in 2022, demonstrating his continued versatility and demand in the industry.
