Shay Avelina

Shay Avelina is an actress, singer, and model originating from Rancho Palos Verdes, California. Her theatrical career began after graduating from the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts in 2007. She furthered her education by earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 2009. Avelina’s early acting work includes a role as a Young Female (uncredited) in the TV series “Dollhouse” in 2010. These early academic and performance experiences established her foundation in the performing arts.

Throughout her career, Avelina has taken on diverse projects, demonstrating her range as a performer. In 2018, she appeared in the short films “He’s a Freak” and “I’m not crazy.” The same year, she played the role of Sara in the short film “Captured,” which she also wrote. Her involvement behind the camera continued in 2020, where she served as a producer for the short film “Her,” in which she also played the character Rebecca Lee. Her theatrical engagements encompass roles in stage productions such as “West Side Story” and “Miss Saigon.” She also portrayed Satan in “Edge of the Universe: A Magic School Bus Musical Parody” at the Hollywood Fringe Festival.

Beyond acting, Avelina is active in music as a lead vocalist for the pop/rock covers band Bad Influ3nce, performing across California. She has also established Forever Magical Entertainment by Shay Avelina, a princess party company, showcasing her business acumen alongside her artistic talents.
