World famous for her pioneering book Words That Change Minds: Mastering the Language of Influence Shelle Rose Charvet is a consultant, speaker and author. Words That Change Minds has been translated into 15 different languages and is now used as a text book in various university business programs in the UK and the US. A leading expert in persuasion, NLP and influencing, she is a Founder of the Institute for Influence and President of Success Strategies and Weongozi.
She has helped to train thousands of people around the world in persuasion and influencing techniques using advanced psychologies such as Neuro-Linguistic Programming, LAB Profile® and has created a number of advanced techniques used to improve influence, trust, rapport and credibility to help her clients get what they need. A highly sought-after public speaker, Charvet is a (CSP) Certified Speaking Professional and was 2009 President of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers.
Born in Canada, Charvet’s background in Neuro-linguistic Programming and social sciences took her to Europe in the 1980s, where she worked as a consultant and communication trainer for several high profile clients including the Bank of France, the European Parliament, OECD, the CERN (European Centre for Nuclear Research) and IBM Europe. When she returned to her native Canada she became the founding President of the Canadian Association of NLP, and she now travels the globe helping clients to succeed with their trickiest communication problems. She returned to Switzerland in May 2005, working with the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) and the International Olympic Committee. Her book Words That Change Minds is now an international bestseller, and Charvet has featured across the media appearing on Global, CTV, CBC and CNBC.
