American actor Simon Rex has been brought on as the new co-founder and key figure behind the relaunch of beauty brand Mox Skincare. He serves as the face of the brand, which is relaunching with a new strategy focusing on men's skin-care and self-care.
Following his star-making role in Sean Baker's acclaimed feature Red Rocket, Simon Rex signed with the management firm Range Media Partners in October 2021.

Simon Rex Cutright was born on July 20, 1974, in San Francisco, California. His career began in the early 1990s as a model for brands such as Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein. He then transitioned into television, becoming an MTV VJ, where he gained initial public recognition. Following his work at MTV, Rex took on acting roles, securing series regular positions on network shows including “Felicity,” “Jack & Jill,” and “What I Like About You.”
Rex expanded his filmography to include roles in the “Scary Movie” franchise, appearing in “Scary Movie 3” (2003), “Scary Movie 4” (2006), and “Scary Movie 5” (2013). His other film credits include “Hotel California” (2008) and “King of the Avenue” (2010). Beyond acting, Rex developed a rap persona, Dirt Nasty, releasing solo albums and co-founding the hip-hop group Three Loco.
