Sinem Kobal

Sinem Kobal was born on August 14, 1987, in Istanbul, Turkey. Her father worked as a civil engineer, and both her parents originate from Hemsin, Rize. At the age of four, Kobal began ballet training, continuing for eight years. She was also a successful student in sports, earning second prize in a volleyball competition and first prize in a step aerobics competition. She completed her high school education at the Royal Academy and later pursued higher education in Art Management and Performing Arts at Beykent University.

Kobal began her acting career at age thirteen in the sitcom “Dadi” (2001), where she played Dilara Giritli. She gained broader recognition for her lead role in the fantasy children’s series “Selena” (2006-2009), which ran for 104 episodes. Her film credits include “Okul” (2004), “Ayakta Kal” (2009), the science fiction comedy “Turks in Space” (2006), and “Romantik Komedi” (2010).

Throughout her career, Kobal has featured in various television series, demonstrating her versatility. These include “Lise Defteri” (2003), “Nefes Nefese” (2005), and “Moms and Mothers” (2015). She also appeared in the sequel “Romantik Komedi 2: Bekarliga Veda” (2013). Beyond acting, Kobal has participated in numerous television commercials in Turkey for brands such as Gencturkcell and Bingo, showcasing her appeal in advertising. She married actor Kenan İmirzalıoğlu on May 14, 2016, and they have two daughters.
