Snyp Luciano was born Rafael Wisdom in the Jamaica Queens neighborhood of New York City. Because his father was a Panamanian immigrant and his mother was a Brooklyn native, he was exposed to cultural differences from a young age. Later in his life, his mother decided to relocate to Raleigh, North Carolina with her children in order to provide them with a better upbringing. He discovered his affinity for music while adjusting to the urban streets of the North and the rural countryside of the South. Despite the fact that his life was always changing and unpredictable, his enthusiasm for music remained constant. He liked to listen to a wide range of music, including Motown, 1970s funk, and hip hop in particular. Luciano grew up listening to East and West Coast rap. Later on, this would be reflected in his music.
From 2015 to 2016, Luciano traveled the south and some of the midwest with Big Krit’s Pay Attention Tour, Juicy’s THC Tour, and The Ubeenjacked Tour in Honolulu, Hawaii, featuring Post Malone. In 2016, Luciano joined Chris Gotti’s Adventures Music. He had an appearance on Chris Gotti’s album “Independence” in 2017 on the track “Deep Like The Wu.” Luciano’s debut album, “The Boogie Man LP,” was released in 2018.
