United States Sofia Hublitz gained recognition for her role in the critically acclaimed series "Ozark" and has developed a career spanning television and film.
Born on June 1, 2000, in Richmond, Virginia, Sofia Hublitz developed an early familiarity with film production due to her mother’s work as a screen art director. In 2007, her family relocated to New York City. Hublitz made her television debut in 2013 as a contestant on “MasterChef Junior,” finishing in 8th place over three episodes. This early exposure led to further opportunities in the entertainment industry.
In 2014, Hublitz secured her first acting role as Danielle Hoffman in two episodes of the television series “Louie.” She followed this with an appearance in “Horace and Pete” in 2016, playing the “Young” Sylvia. A significant turning point in her career came in 2017 when she landed the main role of Charlotte Byrde in the Netflix crime drama series “Ozark.” She starred alongside Jason Bateman and Laura Linney as their daughter, a role she maintained for all 44 episodes until the series concluded in 2022.
Her work on “Ozark” led to three Screen Actors Guild Award nominations for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series in 2019, 2021, and 2023. Beyond television, Hublitz has also appeared in films such as “What Breaks the Ice” (2020) and “Ida Red” (2021). She has upcoming projects including “Hunting Season” (2026), “The Gates,” “Brain Freeze” (2024), “Taxon” (2024), and a recurring role as Young Kristine in the TV mini-series “Good American Family” (2025). Sofia Hublitz signed with the United Talent Agency (UTA) in 2016.
