Star of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Stan Ianevski is best known for playing Viktor Krum in the popular film series.
Despite having never acted before, and having no intentions to pursue a career in film, Ianevski was spotted by a casting director who encouraged him to audition for the role of Viktor Krum for the Harry Potter film franchise. He took part in an acting workshop and fought off stiff competition from over 650 other actors to win the part. He went on to play the on-screen heartthrob who dates main character Hermione Granger, instantly catapulting him to fame and launching his career in television and film. Two years after his debut he was cast in another film, this time horror movie Hostel: Part ||, building on his reputation as a strong actor and going on to have yet another great year in 2011. Ianevski was cast in television programme Undercover, a crime drama set in his native Bulgaria which he starred in for nine episodes. In the same year he appeared in alternative reality film Resistance, playing one of the central characters in the major motion picture.
Ianevski has also made brief appearances in comedy drama Sofia Residents in Excess, starring in three episodes of the popular show. The actor is currently working on multiple yet-to-be-released projects, including film The Cloaking in which he plays the main character, and movie Last Man Down.
