Texas Cheney is an American actor, model, and professional wrestler. His biggest film role to date has been a leading role as a biker gang member in the 2013 film Southern Iron. He has also featured as an extra in major TV drama series such as Dawson’s Creek, One Tree Hill, and Matlock. As a wrestler, he has been fought with WWE — the world’s number one wrestling entertainment production company — as well as TNA and NWA, to name two.
Cheney lives in Wilmington, a North Carolina port city on America’s east coast. His acting, modelling, and wrestling work, however, has taken him all over the United States. As an actor, the majority of his roles to date have been in independent short films, including A Block, Year of the Dragon, Irish Mob, Corner Pocket, Hinx, Big Goalie, and Lance Steel. These films have seen portray a wide range of characters across a variety of genres — from a hockey goalie in the comedy Big Goalie to a captured CIA agent in Irish Mob and a retired general in Corner Pocket.
Likewise, Cheney’s wrestling career has seen him perform for a wide variety of teams and production companies. As well as WWE, TNA, and NWA, he has been associated with North Carolina’s AIWF, Ohio’s OWF, and Old School Wrestling. When he’s not in front of the cameras or the crowds, he keeps himself in top shape by indulging in just every sport you can imagine, from football to surfing to martial arts. Texas Cheney is one man who packs a lot into his resume.
