Legendary and beloved country singer T. Graham Brown has serenaded the U.S. country music scene for over 40 years. Hailing from Georgia, his soulful tones and gripping personality has made him one of the genre’s most well-loved voices. Throughout his fruitful career he has boasted several chart-topping hits and continues to share his talents with the world to this very day. Beginning in the 70s as part of several groups such as the duo Dirk & Tony, Red Diamond and T. Graham Brown’s Rack of Spam, Brown then moved to Nashville in 1984, where he signed with Capitol Records.
The years following became his most successful yet. Charging ahead, he released his first album I Tell it Like it Used to Be in 1986. In it were the hits “Hell and High Water” and “Don’t Go to Strangers”, which both took the No.1 spot on Billboard’s Country Music charts. Only a year later, his second album Brilliant Conversationalist grabbed three top ten hits and in 1998 the song “Darlene” from his third album “Come as You Were”, once again saw Brown reaching the No.1 spot. Continuing to release successful albums in the following years, Brown solidified his status has one of country music’s most treasured artists.
In the 2000’s he continued releasing albums, this time independently. These included The Next Right Thing and The Present. With several high-profile collaborations the years following he went on to reach No.1 again with Mark Carman in the album Forever Changed. With cameos in films, shows and ads as well as an ever-growing love for the genre, Brown continues to be a precious figure in country music. He performs across the US and is continuing to release new projects.
