Legends Football League (LFL) icon Tai Emery is an Australian All-Star Football Player, fitness model, and an MMA Fighter. Emery has played for the likes of Las Vegas Sins and LFL Queensland Brigade and played for 4 years and 3 seasons in the LFL. Emery is now one of the most glamourous MMA Fighters around, but she’s not just about her good looks and fashionable outfits – Emery’s fitness regime is a gritty mix of boxing training, wrestling, sprints, yoga, dancing and Thai boxing. She has appeared in numerous sports and fitness publications including X25 Fitness magazine.
Emery grew up in Queensland, Australia and is half New Zealander with Maori roots. A thermographer/electrician by trade, Emery was into sports when she was young and began modelling when she was 20 years old.
Emery got into football after a friend took her to a team training session, and she was instantly hooked. She joined Queensland Brigade in the LFL in 2013 and became captain of the side, also becoming captain at Las Vegas Si. The team of elite Australian coaches introduced innovative training sessions and new ideas to Emery, and she was a focussed teammate throughout her years as an LFL sister, taking her role seriously and to the next level.
Now taking on the new challenge of MMA fighting, Emery is proving that she has the fitness, focus and mindset to succeed in everything she tries.
