Taissa Farmiga has established a career in both television and film, gaining recognition for her roles in critically acclaimed projects and popular genre series. After making her critically acclaimed acting debut in Vera Farmiga’s directorial project, the 2011 film ‘Higher Ground,’ which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, Taissa Farmiga went on to secure a leading role as Violet Harmon in the Fox horror series ‘American Horror Story’ later that same year, earning wider public attention for her nuanced portrayal. Farmiga quickly expanded her filmography, taking her first leading film role in Jorge Dorado’s psychological thriller ‘Mindscape’ (2013), and co-starring in Sofia Coppola’s crime film ‘The Bling Ring’ (2013) and the thriller ‘Anna’ (2013).
