Talal Alrashidi

Talal Alrashidi is a competitive trap shooter who has represented Kuwait in multiple international competitions, including the Olympic Games. After securing a gold medal at the World Championships in Belgrade for Trap Men Junior in 2011, Talal Alrashidi swiftly established himself as a leading competitive trap shooter representing Kuwait on the international stage. Alrashidi began competitive shooting in 2007 as a member of the Kuwait Shooting Club, and his consistent performance led to his first Olympic appearance in London in 2012, where he placed 26th in Trap Men. That same year, he earned a Silver Medal at the Asian Shooting Championships in Doha (Trap Men), followed by another Gold at the Asian Championships in Almaty (Trap Men Junior) in 2013.

Alrashidi’s consistent performance continued into 2023 with a Bronze Medal (Mixed trap team) at the Asian Championships in Changwon. Throughout his distinguished career, he has amassed an impressive medal count including one gold at the World Championships, one at the Presidents Cup, three at World Cup events, four at ISSF Grand Prix, and eight at Asian Championships. Talal has competed alongside his Olympian father, Abdullah Al-Rashidi, reinforcing a family legacy in the sport, and is set to compete at the Asian Championships in Shymkent in 2025.
