Tameka Raymond has built a career as a celebrated stylist, designer, and author, impacting fashion and entertainment while dedicating significant efforts to philanthropy. After attending the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) in 1994, Tameka Raymond embarked on a distinguished career in fashion, quickly establishing herself as a celebrated stylist. Her early experience included working as a dresser for Giorgio Armani and other designer fashion shows, providing hands-on insight into high-end apparel. Tameka gained prominence for her work with Lauryn Hill, helping to brand her as an international fashion icon.

Beyond styling and philanthropy, Raymond has expanded her creative impact into design, leading various fashion and interior projects, and is a three-time published author. In 2014, she joined the cast of VH-1’s reality series ‘Atlanta Exes,’ showcasing her dynamic personality and industry insights to a broader audience. In August 2019, Tameka launched ‘The Odd Life of Kile Lyles,’ a 3-D animated series developed with her sons. This imaginative project, which began development in 2013, tells the captivating story of an 11-year-old boy’s fantastical world, serving as a creative tribute and expanding her reach into new entertainment formats, further demonstrating her versatility across media.
