Tanner Buchanan is an American actor known for his versatile roles across television and film, including significant parts in ‘Designated Survivor’ and ‘Cobra Kai’. After achieving global recognition for his main role as Robby Keene in the Netflix martial arts series Cobra Kai since 2018, Tanner Buchanan has solidified his position as a versatile and compelling actor. His career began in 2010 with a child role in Modern Family, followed by appearances in series such as Grey’s Anatomy, Major Crimes, and The Goldbergs. Buchanan made his feature film debut in Jake Squared in 2013.

In 2015, he secured recurring roles as Charlie Gardner in the Disney Channel series Girl Meets World and as Mason Kendall in the Nickelodeon series Game Shakers, demonstrating his early range. Buchanan’s dramatic profile significantly rose with his main role as Leo Kirkman, the President’s son, in the political drama Designated Survivor.
