American actress Tanya Chisholm is known for playing a main character in Big Time Rush, and making appearances in Ghost Whisperer, Cold Case and Veronica Mars.
Chisholm’s first on screen appearance was in 2006, when she starred in two episodes of Veronica Mars. The following year she was cast in numerous productions, including as the lead Sharpette, Jackie, in Disney’s High School Musical 2. She also appeared in Ghost Whisperer, Cold Case and Cory in the House, building up a reputation for herself as a talented young actress. In 2009, she landed a main role in Big Time Rush, staying with the show for four years and becoming one of the central characters in the popular teen series. This also led to a role in movie spin off, Big Time Movie, with Chisholm going on to star in Saved by the Bell: The Movie and Confessions of a Prodigal Son. By now, she was a highly sought after actress and guest star, appearing on children’s panel show Figure It Out for a year, as well as winning more acting roles in shows like Rizzoli and Isles, Bellman Chronicles: Hollywood and The Josh Moore Show.
Recently, Chisholm has starred in movies An Accident Zombie (Named Ted) and The 24th, having moved away from children’s shows and graduated to more serious adult roles. She regularly appears on sketch programmes and YouTube comedy shows, and is one to watch in the coming years.
